Clone REA1348 recognizes ANTXR1, a type I transmembrane protein also known as Tumor endothelial marker 8 (TEM8). ANTXR1 is a tumor-specific endothelial marker that is induced in tumor-associated vasculature. It is also the receptor for Protective Antigen (PA) and Bacillus anthracis toxin, that causes anthrax disease. It is involved in endothelial cell activities related to angiogenesis, and plays a role in interaction with extracellular matrix proteins and the actin cytoskeleton, as well as in cell binding and migration.

Additional information: Clone REA1348 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
