Clone REAL1352 is an antibody fragment derived from the full NRAS antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL1352 recognizes the NRAS protein, also known as GTPase NRas, which is encoded by the HRAS gene and member of the Ras gene family. NRAS is identified in human neuroblastoma cells, binds GDP/GTP and possess intrinsic GTPase activity. It functions as a G-like regulatory protein that plays a role in regulating cell growth. Mutations in the RAS family of proteins have frequently been observed across cancer types, e.g. somatic rectal cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, Noonan syndrome, and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.

For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
