StraightFrom^® Whole Blood REAlease^® CD8 MicroBead Kit was developed for rapid positive selection of CD8⁺ cells directly from whole blood. No sample preparation is required, including density gradient centrifugation or erythrocyte lysis.

The purified target cells are bead-free, practical for consecutive magnetic isolations, and can be label-free so that epitopes are available for any downstream application.

CD8⁺ cells are labelled with StraightFrom Whole Blood REAlease CD8-Biotin (REAlease Biotin Complex). Subsequently, StraightFrom Whole Blood REAlease Anti-Biotin MicroBeads (CD8, human) bind to REAlease Biotin Complex. Then, the cell suspension is loaded onto a MACS Column, which is placed in the magnetic field of a MidiMACS or QuadroMACS separator. Using the REAlease Bead Release Reagent, which removes the MicroBeads from the cell, target cells are eluted within the magnetic field. Finally, during the subsequent incubation with the REAlease Release Reagent, the REAlease Biotin Complex monomerizes and dissociates from the cell surface leaving the target cells free of all labels.

StraightFrom Whole Blood REAlease CD8 MicroBead Kit allows the fast isolation of CD8⁺ cells directly from blood thus minimizing hands-on time and maximizing yields of target cells. The purified CD8⁺ cells are well-suited for further flow cytometric, functional, or molecular analysis.The isolated CD8⁺ cell subset is label-free.
