Highly fluorescent annexin V conjugates provide quick and reliable detection methods for studying the externalization of phosphatidylserine, one of the earliest indicators of apoptosis. Alexa Fluor™ 647 dye is a superior far-red-fluorescent dye with spectra similar to the Cy™5 dye.
