The MACS^® GMP Tyto^® Running Buffer is intended as a GMP-compliant wash and transport fluid within the MACSQuant^® Tyto Cartridges. It consists of two components, which need to be mixed prior to use: the MACS GMP PBS/MgCl₂ Buffer (# 170-076-155) and the MACS GMP Tytonase (# 170-076-210).

The MACS GMP PBS/MgCl₂ Buffer is an isotonic buffer solution with a pH value of 7.4. Three bags with a volume of 1 L each are packed into a cardboard box for transport.

The MACS GMP Tytonase is the enzymatic component of the MACS GMP Tyto Running Buffer. It is an isotonic solution with a pH value of 7.4 that is sold as a 20× stock solution (5 mL).

The MACS^® GMP Tyto^® Running Buffer, the MACS GMP PBS/MgCl₂ Buffer, and the MACS GMP Tytonase are intended for in vitro use only and not for administration to the patient. They are intended to be used by trained healthcare professionals.
