The CD8a+ T Cell Isolation Kit, mouse was developed for the untouched isolation of CD8a+ T cells from single-cell suspensions from mouse spleen or lymph node. Purity has been improved with the release of this kit due to the addition of TCRγ/δ antibody to the depletion cocktail.
This kit uses the new fast mouse protocol and replaces the CD8a+ T Cell Isolation Kit II (# 130-095-236).
The kit is based on a cocktail of biotin-conjugated antibodies against CD4, CD11b, CD11c, CD19, CD45R (B220), CD49b (DX5), CD105, Anti-MHC-class II, Ter-119 and TCRγ/δ. The isolation of T cells is achieved by depletion of magnetically labeled cells.
Untouched T cells are used for functional studies in which cross-linking of surface molecules should be excluded. Isolated T cells can also be further magnetically separated into T cell subsets.
The CD8a+ T Cell Isolation Kit has been used for the following applications: For adoptive transfer experiments1,2, T cell proliferation assays2,3, Coculture with dendritic cells2 and Cytokine analysis experiments.
