The CD4⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit, mouse was developed for the untouched isolation of CD4⁺ T cells from single-cell suspensions of mouse spleen and/or lymph nodes.

This kit uses the new fast mouse protocol and replaces the CD4⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit II (# 130-095-248), allowing isolation of CD4⁺ T cells in just 18 minutes.

CD4⁺ T cells are isolated by depletion of non CD4⁺ T cells using a cocktail of biotin-conjugated antibodies against CD8a, CD11b, CD11c, CD19, CD45R (B220), CD49b (DX5), CD105, Anti-MHC-class II, Ter-119 and TCRγ/δ as primary labeling reagent. The cells are then magnetically labeled with Anti-Biotin MicroBeads. The magnetically labeled non-target cells are depleted by retaining them on a MACS^® Column in the magnetic field of a MACS Separator, while the unlabeled target cells pass through the column.

The CD4⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit, mouse is used where untouched CD4⁺ T cells are desired or where further magnetic separation into T cell subsets is required.
