The Naive CD8⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit was developed for the isolation of naive CD8⁺ T cells from human PBMCs in a two-step procedure.

The isolation of naive CD8⁺ T cells is performed in a two-step procedure. First, naive T cells are enriched by depletion of non-naive T cells and NK cells, which are indirectly magnetically labeled with a cocktail of biotin-conjugated antibodies and Anti-Biotin MicroBeads. In a second step, the enriched naive T cells are labeled with CD8 MicroBeads for subsequent positive selection of the CD8⁺ naive T cells.

Naive CD8⁺ T cells isolated with the Naive CD8⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit can be used for functional T cell studies, e.g., studies on signal transduction or cytokine expression after activation of the naive CD8⁺ T cells.

For the first magnetic separation (depletion): LD or autoMACS^® Columns. For the second magnetic separation (positive selection): MS or autoMACS Columns.
