Clone REA1154 recognizes the human and mouse myelin basic protein MBP, that is located in the myelin membrane in the central and peripheral nervous system. MBP maintains the structure, formation and stabilization of myelin, interacting with the lipids in the myelin membrane e.g. lipophilin.
Additional information: Clone REA1154 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
