Clone REAL805 is an antibody fragment derived from the full NeuN antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL805 recognizes the human and mouse NeuN antigen, also known as Neuronal Nuclei antigen, which is detected in most neuronal cell types in the central and peripheral nervous systems in both the embryo and adult except of Purkinje cells, olfactory bulb mitral cells, retinal photoreceptor cells, and Golgi cells. NeuN is known as pre-mRNA alternative splicing regulator.

For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
