Clone REA557 recognizes the human Vβ14 T cell receptor (TCR Vβ14). The TCR is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable α and β chains. TCR Vβ14 is expressed on a subset of α/β T cells.
