Clone REAL1317 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Mucin-2 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL1317 recognizes human Mucin-2, also known as MUC2, is an oligomeric mucus gel-forming glycoprotein secreted onto mucosal surfaces. It belongs to the mucin protein family, polymerizes into a gel and provides an insoluble mucous barrier that serves to protect the intestinal epithelium. Mucins may show aberrant expression, localization, and/or glycosylation in multiple malignancies.

For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
