Clone REAL451 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Ly-6C antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL451 recognizes the mouse Ly-6C antigen, which is a 14–17 kDa GPI-linked cell surface antigen that belongs to the Ly-6 family of murine surface glycoproteins. It is expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow and shortly after their migration into the circulation. Moreover, Ly-6C is expressed on memory T cells and CD11^lowCD45R(B220)⁺ mPDCA1⁺ plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) in different organs.

The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
