Clone REAL760 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD5 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL760 recognizes the human CD5 antigen, a 67 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein also known as T1 or Leu-1. It is expressed on most thymocytes, the majority of peripheral T cells, a subpopulation of B cells, and B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) cells. CD5 is a receptor for the B cell antigen CD72 and plays a role in T cell activation.

For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
