Clone REAL787 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Perforin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.

Clone REAL787 recognizes the human perforin, a 70 kD cytolytic protein, which is expressed by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells, and stored in cytoplasmic granules. Upon cell activation perforin is released and functions as one of the major effector molecule to mediate killing of target cells. Perforin-mediated cytotoxicity plays an essential role in various autoimmune diseases.

For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
