LXR-a (Liver X Receptor alpha) ligand binding domain is a 55.9 kDa recombinant human protein (amino acids 207-447) expressed as a GST fusion protein in baculovirus-infected insect cells. LXR alpha was expressed and purified in the absence of exogenous ligands, making it ideal for ligand binding and coregulator displacement studies.
